At Karoo Group, we operate as a dedicated specialist children's residential care provider committed to delivering safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environments. Our mission is to empower children and young people aged 8 to 17 by providing exceptional residential, emergency, and respite care that builds resilience and prepares them for independent adulthood.

Who We Are

Headquartered in London and operating specialised residential homes across regions such as Cambridgeshire and County Durham, our organisation is guided by experienced directors including Burger Botes, Paul Jonathon Bromwich, and Oliver James Knowles. We bring together multidisciplinary care professionals, residential managers, and support workers dedicated to vulnerable youth.

What We Do

We deliver an integrated suite of specialist residential childcare and developmental support solutions:

  • Specialist Children's Residential Homes: Providing high-quality, Ofsted-registered residential settings tailored for male and female children and young people.
  • Solo & Emergency Placements: Offering secure, highly individualised solo living options alongside emergency bridging placements for young people experiencing immediate crisis.
  • Respite Care Support: Delivering short-term residential placements designed to give families and primary care networks vital support.
  • Trauma-Informed & Positive Behaviour Support (PBS): Implementing specialised frameworks that address challenging behaviours constructively and promote emotional healing.
