Yes, creating a job seeker profile is completely free. There are no registration fees, subscription charges, or hidden costs for job seekers. 


Q2: How do I create my job seeker profile?

To get started:

  • Click on Login 
  • Select ‘Need an account? Sign Up’
  • Select “job seeker” to create a job seeker account
  • Fill in your name, professional summary, email, location, CV and choose a password. 
  • Click on ‘Register to set up your profile.


Q3: What types of care jobs are available on Care Wizard?

On Care Wizard, we have a wide range of adult social care roles, including; 

  • Care assistant jobs
  • Care management jobs
  • Nurse jobs
  • Care home administrative jobs
  • Care home support jobs
  • Complex and specialist jobs


Q4: How do I search for care jobs near me?

Once you have logged into Care Wizard, follow the steps below to find jobs near you:

  • Step 1: Use the job search bar to enter your preferred job title, skills, or keywords. 
  • Step 2: Filter results by job category,  type, time posted, location, radius, and a unique option to sort by Date and Relevance

If it's a newbie profile, you can also access jobs from your dashboard by clicking ’My Applications,’ and ‘Apply for Jobs’


Q5: How do I set up job alerts so I do not miss new listings?

After logging in to your profile, navigate to the job alerts section at the bottom of the home page and fill in your details. You can sign up for free daily or weekly email updates whenever a new vacancy matching your criteria is posted


Q6: What qualifications do I need to apply for care jobs?

Qualification requirements vary by role and employer. Many entry-level care assistant positions welcome applications from candidates with no prior care qualifications, as long as you have a genuine commitment to caring for others and a willingness to Complete Mandatory training.


PART TWO: FAQ FOR EMPLOYERS

Q1: How do I create an employer profile on Care Wizard?

To create your profile as an employer, follow these steps:

  • Click on Post a Job 
  • Fill in your company details
  • Select pricing plan suitable to you
  • Register your profile

Q2: How long does Employer account verification take?

Verification is completed within 24-48 hours. Once your account is approved, you profile is live and can begin posting job listings


Q3: How long will my job listing remain live?

Free plan Standard job listings remain live for 30 days from the date of posting, but vary across different pricing packages. To enjoy longer job listing days, subscribe to Care Wizard Unlimited or Recruitment Agencies.


Q4: What information should I include in a job listing to attract the right candidates?

The most effective job listings include:

  • A clear and specific job title
  • The location and type of care setting
  • The hours and contract type
  • Salary range, qualifications and required experience
  • Benefits or details of any training or development opportunities you offer
  • Information about your service's culture and values.

Q5: Does Care Wizard support safer recruitment or DBS verification?

We are a job advertising and candidate matching platform and do not carry out DBS checks on behalf of employers. However, the platform allows job seekers/candidates to indicate their DBS status on their profile, including whether they hold a current enhanced DBS certificate or are subscribed to the DBS Update Service.
