Are you an experienced Senior Carer ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a dedicated Field Care Supervisor to join our supportive and growing team in Bedford.
Location: Bedford
Salary: £28,000 per annum, on call duties will be paid at an additional £150 per week Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Full time, on call duties is 1:6 weeks
About the Role:
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of care and ensuring the wellbeing of our clients. You will support care staff, conduct spot checks and assessments, and act as a key point of contact between the care team, clients, and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Care Consultations & Service Reviews: Assist with completing client support plans and carry out regular reviews of services to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
- Staff Supervision & Client QA: Conduct staff supervisions and quality assurance visits to ensure compliance and the highest standards of care.
- Care Plan Management: Create, update, and audit client care plans and assist with digital care planning processes.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client and Care Professional records using Home Instead software and People Planner.
- Client & Care Professional Introductions: Conduct introductions to clients and Care Professionals, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Building Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in care.
- Client Reviews & Actioning Plans: Carry out client reviews and take action based on the results to ensure clients’ needs are always met.
- On-Call Duties: Participate in on-call duties when required to ensure continuity of care.
- General Duties: Carry out any additional duties as directed by your line manager to support the success of the business.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience of working with MAR sheets and managing medication in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of health and social care legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues quickly.
- Confidence in using care management technology and providing training and support to Care Professionals.
- A full UK driving license and access to transport for client visits (if required).
