Area Manager – Care Homes Multi-Site, CQC “Good” Homes

Are you an experienced leader in adult social care looking to make a real difference? We’re seeking a dedicated Area Manager to oversee multiple CQC “Good”-rated care homes, supporting Registered Managers and driving continuous improvement toward an “Outstanding” standard.
About the Role
As Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting a small portfolio of care homes, each led by a Registered Manager. You’ll provide strategic and hands-on support to ensure high-quality care, operational excellence, and compliance with CQC and company standards.
You’ll lead with compassion and confidence, supporting approximately 15–20 service users across multiple locations, ensuring their care environments are safe, supportive, and continually improving.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and strategic support to Registered Managers across multiple sites.
- Working with our inhouse HR, Finance and other support to aid the improvements in your homes
- Ensure services maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
- Inspire and guide your teams to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
- Support services in developing their quality frameworks and action plans, aiming to move from “Good” to “Outstanding.”
- Conduct audits, provide feedback, and implement improvements across all services.
- Foster strong relationships with local authorities, stakeholders, and families.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in adult social care specifically learning disabilities, ideally in a multi-site role or extensive Registered Manager experience in Learning Disabilities
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance.
- Inspirational leadership style with the ability to develop and mentor others.
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for delivering high-quality care and achieving excellence.
