A well-established provider of housing and care for older people in England is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Extra Care Home Manager to lead a 30-bed Extra Care service in Halifax, Yorkshire.

About the Role
As the Registered Care Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage high-quality, person-centred care in an Extra Care environment, in line with CQC standards and relevant legislation.
- Promote sustainable independent living for elderly residents in a registered care setting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational policies to maintain a safe, effective, and compassionate care environment.
- Manage and develop a team of care professionals, ensuring performance, capability, and staff engagement.
- Participate in budget planning and oversee financial targets to ensure the service operates efficiently.
- Maintain the service’s positive reputation within the local community and with stakeholders.
- Actively manage operational risks to ensure safety for residents, staff, and visitors.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant management experience within Extra Care, Domiciliary Care, Supported Living, or a similar setting—preferably supporting older people.
- A Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
- At least 12 months of team leadership experience, including performance management and staff development.
- A strong understanding of CQC compliance and person-centred care delivery.
