Located in the beautiful High Peak, Watford House is a warm and welcoming 36-bed residential care home providing high quality Residential, Respite and Dementia care. Nestled in a peaceful location, our home offers a calm, supportive environment where residents are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
We are looking for a dedicated Care Assistant who is passionate about delivering person-centred care. You will be a key member of our care team, supporting residents with their daily routines, helping to maintain their independence, and ensuring their health, happiness, and wellbeing are prioritised every day.

Your Role
As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with residents to support their day-to-day needs and routines. You will encourage independence while providing kind, attentive assistance with tasks such as washing, dressing, mobility, meals, and activities. You will build trusting relationships, help monitor health and wellbeing, and always act with compassion and integrity. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will contribute to a warm, friendly environment where residents feel safe, respected, and truly at home.
What We Are Looking For
You will ideally have at least six months of experience in a care setting and hold an SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, though we welcome individuals with a genuine passion for care and a willingness to learn. You must be a team player who brings empathy, respect, and commitment to delivering excellent service every day.
