Summary
We are looking for a physiotherapist with extensive experience working in an outpatient MSK setting, who can demonstrate they have gained significant knowledge and skill in the assessment and management of patients presenting with a wide range of MSK conditions and ideally someone who has developed a special interest in the management of common spinal conditions.
Part-time hours would be considered.
Responsibilty
- You will be a strong team player with excellent communication and health coaching skills.
- You will be involved in the delivery and development of pathways and will support the development of junior staff and students.
- You will embrace innovation and integrated working and will be committed to following best practice to ensure patient-centred care.
- You will be actively involved in service development and will need to work on your own initiative as well as being responsible for the development of junior staff.
- You will be willing to work across NEE to meet the needs of the service, specifically contributing to the supervision of B6 staff in satellite sites (Harwich and Clacton).

- To work as part of the integrated team to deliver therapeutic input to patients in a clinic setting with the aim of returning them to maximum independent living, within a stimulating environment actively promoting self-management of all activities of daily living.
- Working as an autonomous practitioner, the post holder will provide specialist input to all patients who fall within their specialist field of expertise.
- Work with colleagues across health, social care, mental health and the voluntary sector to ensure holistic and joined-up delivery of care.
- Empower patients to make decisions about their own care and encourage them to exercise their rights and choices, signposting them to relevant community and voluntary services and supporting patients’ carers and assistants with management of risk.
