Overview
An established residential care provider is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-run residential home in Lancashire. This is a senior appointment and is not suitable for candidates looking to step up for the first time.
The client is seeking a proven operator who can hit the ground running, provide stability, and maintain strong standards of care and compliance.
Essential Requirements
• Proven experience working as a Registered Manager
• Background within a residential or nursing home setting
• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management or RGN qualification
• Strong CQC knowledge with a compliance focused mindset
• Demonstrable job stability with sustained tenure in previous roles
• Lives locally or within a reasonable commuting distance
• Confident leader with experience managing staff, occupancy and quality
The Role
• Overall operational and regulatory responsibility for the home
• Ensure CQC compliance and readiness at all times
• Lead, develop and retain a stable staff team
• Maintain high standards of care, governance and safeguarding
• Manage rotas, budgets and performance
• Act as the key point of contact for external stakeholders
