Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Care Home
Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday with on-call rota
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to lead a brand-new children’s residential care home in Hull.
The home will support up to 3 young people aged 8–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, offering a safe, nurturing, and stable environment. You’ll have the chance to shape the service from the very beginning, including supporting the Ofsted registration, and building a strong, values-led team.
All policies and procedures are already in place, giving you the freedom to focus on leadership, quality care, and positive outcomes for children and young people.

- Pre-registration involvement (part-time/remote) with paid monthly support
- £1,000 bonus following a successful Ofsted interview
- Fully funded Level 5 Diploma
- Opportunity to move into the full-time Registered Manager role once registration is complete
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the home in line with regulatory and quality standards
- Promoting safeguarding and high-quality care
- Recruiting, developing, and supporting staff
- Working with families, professionals, and placing authorities
- Managing day-to-day operations, budgets, and compliance
- Leading quality assurance and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in children’s residential care
- Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements
- Passion for safeguarding and improving outcomes for children
- Willingness to complete (or already hold) the Level 5 qualification
- Confident, values-driven leadership style
