Registered Manager – Brand New 2-Bed EBD Children’s Home (Darlington)
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 2-bed EBD children’s home in Darlington.
This is a rare opportunity to shape and develop a service from the ground up and make a genuine impact on young people’s lives.
This role offers real autonomy and influence, allowing you to build a strong, positive culture and establish high standards of care from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, and manage your own staff team
- Lead and embed a positive, child-centred culture
- Be supported by an established and experienced wider management team
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures (currently in progress)
- Play a key role in launching a second nearby home once this service is established
- Work towards dual registration in the future
Salary: £56,000+ per annum (dependent on experience)

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager within Children’s Residential Care
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
- A passion for delivering high-quality outcomes for children and young people
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
