Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Bedford
Salary: £50,000
Full-Time | Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed children’s home supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, trauma, and complex needs.
This is a stable, well-established service with a strong team and clear focus on high-quality, child-centred care.
The Role
- Lead day-to-day operations of the home
- Ensure full Ofsted compliance and safeguarding standards
- Manage staff, rotas, and budgets
- Promote a trauma-informed, therapeutic culture
- Build strong relationships with families and professionals
- Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes
Requirements
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in a children’s residential setting
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Experience supporting children with complex needs
- Enhanced DBS (required)
