The Role
We are looking for an experienced CQC Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the home.
You will be responsible for ensuring the service delivers safe, effective, and well-led care in line with CQC regulations, while leading and developing the staff team.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management of the care home and staff team
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding standards
- Maintain high standards of person-centred care
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and quality monitoring
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and supervision
- Liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Experience as a Registered Manager in a care home
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Good understanding of CQC standards and compliance
- Leadership and management experience in a care home setting, with proven ability to lead teams effectively
- Strong understanding of local and national care regulations, compliance standards, and safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate approach to care and commitment to maintaining residents' dignity and quality of life
