About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Care Home Manager to lead a specialist service for working-age adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, person centred care while ensuring the home operates safely, compliantly, and effectively.
Will you oversee the day-to-day operations, support staff performance, and ensure residents receive exceptional support that enhances independence, wellbeing, and quality of life?
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the staff team, promoting strong performance, communication, and development.
- Oversee the creation and ongoing review of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Ensure full compliance with health and social care regulations, standards, and policies.
- Manage safe and legal medication administration processes.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate appointments and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records, including care documentation, staff rotas, and operational reports.
- Promote continuous improvement through supervision, training, and performance management.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
- Monitor the home environment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety procedures.
Experience & Requirements
- Proven management experience in a care home or regulated care setting.
- Strong background supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Ability to create, implement, and review personalised care plans.
- Experience supervising staff and supporting their development.
- Knowledge of medication administration processes in a regulated environment.
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
