Registered Manager – Children’s Residential (EBD/SEMH)
Location: Wrexham (on-site)
Salary: Up to £55,000 + bonus
Contract: Full-time (39 hours)
Overview
We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed children’s residential home in Wrexham, supporting young people aged 8–17 with emotional, social and behavioural needs (EBD/SEMH).
This is a key leadership role within a service that is going through a period of stabilisation and development. You’ll play a pivotal role in bringing structure, rebuilding team confidence, and embedding consistent, high-quality care.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the home, ensuring a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for young people.
Key responsibilities include
- Full day-to-day management of the home
- Ensuring safeguarding, compliance, and Ofsted readiness
- Leading, supervising, and developing the staff team
- Embedding structure, routines, and best practices
- Driving service improvement, quality, and performance
About You
We are looking for a confident and experienced leader who can make a real impact.
- Experienced Registered Manager, or strong Deputy, ready to step up
- Background in children’s residential care (EBD/SEMH essential)
- Proven track record of improving services and leading teams
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory compliance
