Are you a compassionate Care Assistant looking for a rewarding day shift role in a truly special care environment?
We are currently recruiting dedicated Care Assistants to join a well-established, family-run residential care service set within beautiful countryside on the edge of Dartmoor.
The home is registered to support up to 21 residents and is set within picturesque grounds surrounded by lakes, offering a peaceful and truly unique environment. As a family-owned service, there is a strong focus on creating a warm, homely atmosphere where residents are treated with dignity and staff feel valued.
Since opening in 2009, the service has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) available – applicants must already be living locally in the Okehampton/Devon area

This residential care service provides personalised residential and respite care in a peaceful and supportive environment.
Set within extensive landscaped grounds, meadows, and woodland, the home offers residents a unique living experience surrounded by nature, including lakes, gardens, and local wildlife. Residents can enjoy time outdoors and take in the stunning views across the surrounding countryside and Dartmoor.

Your Role
As a Care Assistant (Days), you will:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents
- Support residents with daily routines and personal care
- Promote dignity, independence, and emotional wellbeing
- Encourage participation in activities and social interaction
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
- Maintain accurate care records

- Previous care experience is desirable
