Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to individuals, enabling them to live comfortably and independently.
As a Care Assistant, you will assist with daily tasks, promote well-being, and ensure the dignity and respect of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care
Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support mobility and physical needs, including help with transferring and positioning.
Daily Living Support
Help with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
Accompany clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
Emotional and Social Support
Provide companionship and emotional reassurance.
Encourage participation in activities to enhance mental and emotional well-being.
Monitoring and Reporting
Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.
Compliance and Safety
Follow care plans and ensure all activities align with health and safety regulations.
Adhere to confidentiality and safeguarding policies.
Qualifications and Skills:-
- Prior experience in a care role is preferred
- Training will be provided.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
- A valid First Aid/CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain one.
- Proof of the right to work in this country.
