Anderida currently provides support for three gentleman with Mild LD, Mental Health and Acqued Brain Injury. The Service Users enjoy going out in the local community for activities such as bowling, cinema, and local museums.
The service is a detached bungalow in a residential area close to local amenities with onsite parking
Court Lodge
Court Lodge is a small care home which provides care and support for up to 6 ladies with learning disabilities and mental health diagnoses.
The service users are aged between 50 – 85 years old and enjoy attending choir group, baking, art and craft sessions shopping and the cinema.
Rose Cottage
The service supports three service users who age from 40 to 65. These service users are all male and enjoy going out and doing activities such as bowling, swimming, golf, cinema, etc.
The residents at the service have learning and physical disabilities and some can have challenging behaviours. The service users all enjoy using the beautiful, large garden they have and always keen to be outside when possible.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Locality Manager, the Dual Service Registered Manager will provide operational, commercial, and quality leadership across the three services. You’ll play a key role in service delivery, regulatory compliance, people management, and business development.
You will ensure our service users receive high-quality, personalised care and support while maintaining the home’s full occupancy, financial stability, and staff performance.
Key Responsibilities
Service Operations
- Ensure full occupancy and manage referral assessments.
- Lead on recruitment and resource management to minimise agency use.
- Tailor all services to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Commercial & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities and external partners.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to grow the service organically.
Financial Management
- Lead on achieving gross margin and EBITDA targets.
- Monitor financial performance, identifying and addressing variances proactively.
- Communicate service changes to finance within 2 days.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, CQC regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Embed person-centred care pathways across the service.
- Respond to complaints effectively and uphold excellent customer service standards.
Leadership & People Management
- Provide strong, visible leadership to the team.
- Manage performance, encourage development, and address underperformance as needed.
- Conduct supervisions, disciplinary and appeal hearings appropriately.
Continuous Improvement
- Promote a culture of learning, quality improvement and service efficiency.
- Stay informed on sector developments and legislative changes.
Essential
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience managing a residential care setting, ideally supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership, financial and operational management skills.
