Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead a new domiciliary care service in Northampton. You will be responsible for leading the new branch, including registration with CQC and building the service.

As the Registered Manager, you will work in close partnership with the Director, who is highly hands-on and brings extensive experience in the care sector and a genuine commitment to delivering the right care for every individual.

Registered Manager Responsibilities:

Building a fully compliant, high-quality service – including CQC registration.
Leading the day-to-day operations of a domiciliary care service, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.
Working closely with the Director to grow the branch, including staff recruitment, training, and business development.
Building up local contacts through networking.
Working alongside local authorities to promote the service within the local community.
Embedding strong leadership, culture, and accountability across the branch.
Identifying opportunities for business growth across private and NHS referral streams.
Provide on-call support as required.

Registered Manager Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care.
Experience in setting up a branch for CQC registration - strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks.
Proven ability to develop services, drive occupancy, and manage budgets.
Minimum NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
Strong leadership skills.
Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle.
Train the trainer qualification – Preferred
