Registered Manager - Elderly Care Home
Location: Newbury
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus Scheme
Note: 28 Days Holiday
We are seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead a well-established 30-bed elderly care home in Newbury, proudly rated 'Good' by the CQC.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, maintaining compliance, and driving occupancy in a supportive and stable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of care professionals
- Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and ensure continued high standards
- Drive and sustain full occupancy levels
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges
- Ensure the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care
Requirements
Proven experience as a Registered Manager within an elderly care home
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Must be commutable to Newbury
