About Us
At Avante Care & Support, we operate as a prominent not-for-profit organisation and registered charity dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support services for older adults. Established with a strong community focus, our mission is built on creating welcoming, vibrant environments where individuals can maintain their independence, dignity, and a fulfilling quality of life.
Who We Are
Headquartered in Faversham, Kent, our organisation brings together experienced care managers, registered nurses, compassionate field support workers, and dedicated activity coordinators. Fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we manage a specialised network of purpose-built residential care homes, nursing facilities, day care centres, and home care services supporting over 1,000 older adults across Kent and South East London boroughs.
What We Do
We deliver an integrated suite of specialist care solutions tailored to individual requirements:
- Residential & Nursing Care: Providing 24-hour professional support, clinical care, and personal assistance delivered by trained staff in comfortable, modern environments.
- Specialised Dementia Care: Designing person-centred care pathways and safe, supportive environments specifically tailored to support individuals managing memory loss, Alzheimer's, and associated cognitive needs.
- Home Care Services: Offering flexible visiting care, overnight assistance, and emergency or short-term support for individuals living independently in their own homes.
- Respite & Day Care Services: Providing temporary residential breaks for family caregivers alongside welcoming community day hubs—such as The Willows Day Care Centre—offering companionship, activities, and daily engagement.
Our Approach & Values
- The Eden Alternative Philosophy: Grounding our care model in the Eden Alternative principles, focusing on eliminating loneliness, helplessness, and boredom by fostering meaningful human relationships and purposeful daily living.
- Not-for-Profit Commitment: Operating entirely for people rather than profit, ensuring all financial surpluses are reinvested directly back into improving our care homes, facilities, and staff training.
- Promoting Choice & Individuality: Placing personal preferences, active lifestyle choices, and respect for personal history at the core of every care plan.
Industry Role
We operate as a Specialised Not-for-Profit Care Provider. Our role is to act as a trusted regional care partner, supplying vital residential, nursing, and community-based health infrastructure across Kent and London.
