Residential Care Worker – Bradford

Hours: Full Time

We’re Hiring! Due to continued growth, Better Futures Care is seeking Residential Care Workers to support children and young people in a nurturing, safe environment.

Key Requirements

Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Workforce (or willingness to work towards)
Experience in residential care or working with children/young people
Strong safeguarding awareness
Ability to provide supportive, structured care with professional boundaries

Your Role

Provide high-quality care and a safe, nurturing environment
Build trusting relationships and support children’s routines, education, and wellbeing
Act as a positive role model and surrogate parent within professional boundaries
Follow care plans and work with families, schools, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes

Team & Home Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, excellent care
Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving care practices
Maintain accurate records, including daily logs and incident reports
Support a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
Follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures at all times
Engage in continuous learning and professional development

Pay: £33,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Residential/Senior: 5 years (preferred)
