At Carinity, we operate as a leading not-for-profit, Christian-based care organisation dedicated to making a positive difference in people's lives. Formerly known as Queensland Baptist Care and established in 1949, our mission is built on creating inclusive communities where individuals feel valued, secure, supported, and respected.

Who We Are

Headquartered in Gaythorne, Brisbane, and operating as an outreach of Queensland Baptists alongside Baptist Care Australia, our organisation brings together over 1,800 dedicated staff and professional volunteers. We collaborate closely with families, government bodies, and health commissioners to deliver comprehensive, person-centred health and community services across Queensland.

What We Do

We deliver an integrated suite of specialist care, education, and community support solutions:

• Residential Aged Care & Retirement Living: Managing multiple residential aged care communities and retirement villages designed to provide compassionate, purpose-driven living for seniors.
• Home Care Services: Supplying tailored lifestyle carers and nursing professionals to help older adults remain independent in their own homes.
• Youth Accommodation & Crisis Support: Operating specialised programs and emergency housing solutions for vulnerable young people, including school-age girls under care and protection orders.
• Alternative Education: Providing specialised schooling environments designed to support teenagers who struggle within traditional educational frameworks.
• Chaplaincy & Community Outreach: Delivering compassionate spiritual care, counselling, disability support, and family assistance across hospitals, schools, prisons, and aged care facilities.
