About Us
Catch22 is a UK‑based provider of specialist alternative education, public services, and therapeutic support services for children, young people, and adults who have experienced trauma, exploitation, and social challenges.
The organisation offers holistic, person‑centred care within safe, community‑based spaces and education centres across the country, helping individuals build resilience and positive outcomes.
Who We Are
Catch22 operates therapeutic residential settings, specialist schools, and tailored community hubs for children and young people, particularly those who have complex trauma, emotional and behavioural needs, or face systemic barriers.
The organisation was founded in its modern form in 2008 following a merger of longstanding charities and has grown to operate numerous public services in diverse urban and regional settings across England and Wales.
The service combines structured care, education support, health and wellbeing programmes, and vocational training experiences to support each individual’s holistic development.
The care teams include experienced practitioners, clinicians, and education staff who create personalised programmes based on the needs of each young person.
Catch22’s residential and alternative education services are regulated by Ofsted, the official body that inspects and regulates children’s social care and educational services in England and Wales.
