About Us

Centauri Care

At Centauri Care, we provide therapeutic, high-quality residential care for children and young people who have learning, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. We are dedicated to creating stable, nurturing home environments where young people feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Who We Are

We are an independent children’s care provider committed to a therapeutic approach that focuses on the individual needs of every child in our care. We believe that residential living should be an extension of a family environment, where our staff provide the consistent, compassionate support necessary to help young people heal and grow.

What We Do

We operate specialised children’s homes designed to offer a holistic care experience:

  • Therapeutic Care: We utilize reflective practices to build trusting, restorative relationships, supporting young people as they navigate past and present experiences.
  • Complex Needs Support: Our homes are equipped to provide intensive, 24/7 support for young people with diverse emotional, behavioural, and learning challenges.
  • Integrated Development: We work closely with our residents to build life skills—including household management, education, and social interaction—to prepare them for successful independence.
  • Safe Environments: We create small, domestic settings that feel like home, ensuring every young person has a private, comfortable space where they feel secure.

Our Approach & Values

  • Child-Centred Ethos: We ensure the voice of the young person is central to everything we do, from daily routines to long-term care planning.
  • Commitment to Quality: We believe in continuous improvement, ensuring our staff are highly trained and supported to meet the evolving needs of our residents.
  • Community Integration: We actively collaborate with the local community to foster social inclusion and help eradicate the stigma often associated with children in care.
  • Positive Role Modelling: Our staff are committed to being consistent, considerate, and calm, helping young people develop the communication skills and emotional intelligence needed for the future.

Industry Role

We operate as a Specialist Children’s Residential Care Provider. Our role is to act as a vital partner to local authorities, offering the professional, high-intensity support required for young people who cannot currently live in traditional home settings. We provide the stability, safety, and therapeutic input needed to bridge the gap between crisis and long-term recovery.
