About Us
At Collaborative Care Group, we are a specialist provider of children's services dedicated to supporting vulnerable young people with complex needs, challenging behaviours, and adverse early life experiences. Our mission is to deliver safe, stable, and highly personalised residential placements enriched with consistent, relationship-based care.
Who We Are
Operating nationwide across the UK—from Scotland down to Cornwall, including the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and the Channel Islands—our organisation focuses on supporting young individuals whom mainstream or standard residential providers often struggle to accommodate. Guided by experienced practitioners and rigorous governance, our teams specialise in turning crises into stable, positive pathways.
What We Do
We deliver an integrated suite of specialist children's residential care, crisis intervention, and transition support services:
- Specialist Solo Residential Placements: Operating safe, warm, and nurturing solo residential homes designed specifically for young people with highly complex needs, trauma and attachment difficulties, or risks of exploitation.
- Placement Stability Services: Supporting local authorities when an existing placement is at risk of breaking down, stepping in with expert staff to stabilise challenging dynamics.
- Crisis Management & Rapid Response: Deploying specialist care teams immediately to manage acute behavioural crises and prevent further escalation.
- Secure & Hospital Transition Support: Facilitating structured, safe transitions for young people leaving secure accommodation (Section 25) or Tier 4 mental health hospital units back into community settings.
- Specialist In-Home & Family Support: Providing around-the-clock intensive support within the family home to help maintain family placements, support education, and coordinate community activities.
Our Approach & Values
- Trauma-Informed Practice: Embedding contemporary trauma theory, attachment-based approaches, and positive behaviour management into daily routines to help young people process past experiences and regulate emotions.
- Child-Centred Collaboration: Placing the child's voice, rights, and active participation at the core of every decision, working in close partnership with local authorities, social workers, and families.
- Rigorous Oversight & Quality: Committing to exceptional standards, including regular monitoring, evaluation, and bi-monthly independent oversight inspections across our services.
Industry Role
We operate as a Specialised Children's Residential Care Provider. Our role is to act as a trusted social care partner, supplying the robust therapeutic environment, specialised staffing infrastructure, and crisis management required to support the most vulnerable young people.
