Freebridge Community Housing

At Freebridge Community Housing, we operate as the largest provider of social housing in West Norfolk. Established in 2006 following a successful tenant transfer from the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk, our mission is to develop quality homes and create sustainable opportunities that empower local people and communities to thrive.

Who We Are

Headquartered at Juniper House in King's Lynn, our organisation owns and manages around 7,300 homes and 17 sheltered housing schemes across west and north Norfolk. Guided by our core strategy and strong community roots, we employ a dedicated team of around 200 staff committed to listening carefully, building trust, and delivering reliable services.

What We Do

We deliver an integrated suite of affordable housing and community development solutions:

• Affordable Housing Provision: Managing, maintaining, and developing safe, energy-efficient homes to meet local housing needs across Norfolk.
• Sheltered & Independent Living Schemes: Providing supportive accommodation options designed to help older residents maintain independence, safety, and community connection.
• Major Regeneration Projects: Leading transformative local initiatives, such as the multi-million-pound regeneration of Hillington Square in King's Lynn.
• Community Engagement & Hubs: Operating accessible community resources, including the Providence Street Community Centre, to host local activities, partner services, and health initiatives.
• Grant Funding & Local Support: Managing community funds to support grassroots charities, volunteer groups, and projects that improve local health, wellbeing, and social cohesion.

We operate as a Specialised Social Housing and Community Benefit Organisation. Our role is to act as a trusted regional housing association, supplying secure accommodation, investing in local economic infrastructure, and championing community wellbeing.
