About Us

At Heart & Home Living, we operate as a dedicated independent children's residential care provider committed to delivering safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed home environments. Our mission is built on creating stable domestic spaces where vulnerable children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs can heal, develop essential life skills, and build positive futures.

Who We Are

Operating under private corporate governance and rigorous Ofsted regulatory frameworks, our organisation brings together experienced residential childcare practitioners, therapeutic specialists, and dedicated support staff. We collaborate closely with local authorities, safeguarding teams, and educational professionals to maintain high-quality, community-integrated living standards across our homes in regions such as Northampton, Wellingborough, and Kettering.

What We Do

We deliver an integrated suite of residential childcare and developmental support solutions:

  • Specialist Children's Homes: Providing warm, family-style residential care facilities designed for children and young people aged 8 to 17 with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
  • Trauma-Informed & Therapeutic Care: Implementing evidence-based frameworks, positive behaviour support, and regular clinical consultation to help young people process past trauma and build emotional resilience.
  • Individualised Care Pathways: Tailoring support plans focused on personal development, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.
  • Educational & Recreational Integration: Supporting young residents in accessing local schools, vocational training, hobbies, and social enrichment activities such as trips to the seaside, museums, and community clubs.
  • Transition & Independence Support: Equipping older children with practical life management strategies as they prepare for independent living or adulthood.

Our Approach & Values

  • Child-Centred Safety First: Placing the safety, physical wellbeing, and emotional security of every young person at the core of all operational decisions.
  • Nurturing Family Atmosphere: Fostering bright, clean, and welcoming home environments where young people feel valued, respected, and connected.
  • Collaborative Community Practice: Partnering transparently with local authorities, external agencies, and social work teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care outcomes and stable placements.

Industry Role

We operate as a Specialised Residential Childcare Provider. Our role is to act as a trusted social care partner, supplying safe domestic infrastructure and professional therapeutic care teams to support vulnerable looked-after children across the UK.
