About Us
At the South West regional division of Helping Hands Home Care, we operate as a dedicated provider of flexible live-in care, visiting domiciliary support, and condition-led home care. Established with a core commitment to helping individuals remain safely and comfortably in their own homes, our mission is built on delivering compassionate, person-centred care that upholds personal dignity and promotes long-term independence.
Who We Are
Operating through our regional branch network (including our Gloucester coordination hub) and supported by our national headquarters, our organisation brings together experienced registered care managers, field supervisors, and fully trained, directly employed community care professionals. Fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we collaborate closely with local authorities, NHS trusts, and families across the South West to deliver tailored home care packages ranging from brief daily visits to round-the-clock live-in support.
What We Do
We deliver an integrated suite of home care and daily living support solutions:
- Live-In Care Services: Providing dedicated, one-to-one round-the-clock support where a professional carer lives in the client's home to assist with complex personal care, companionship, and daily routines.
- Hourly Domiciliary Care: Offering flexible visiting care ranging from 30-minute pop-ins to extended calls to assist with housework, personal hygiene, and meal preparation.
- Specialised Condition-Led Care: Delivering expert support for individuals managing dementia, stroke recovery, Parkinson's, cancer care, and physical disabilities.
- Respite & Hospital Discharge Support: Providing short-term cover for family caregivers and structured, nurse-led support to help individuals transition safely back home after a hospital stay.
Our Approach & Values
- Directly Employed & Trained Carers: Ensuring all care staff undergo rigorous background screening, enhanced DBS checks, and comprehensive training at our dedicated Centre of Excellence.
- Rigorous Compliance: Maintaining strict adherence to CQC regulations, robust clinical governance, and continuous professional development across all regional branches.
- Person-Centred Dignity: Placing the individual choices, routines, and personal preferences of every client at the centre of all care planning.
