Our Story – Home Instead, Net Care East Anglia. In 2008, Tom and Laura McEwan set out to change the way care was delivered across East Anglia. With personal experience of the gaps in traditional care models, they wanted to build something different—something rooted in dignity, time, and trust. And so, Home Instead – Net Care East Anglia Limited was born. From the very beginning, it was a family-run business with a family-centred heart. Tom and Laura believed that older adults deserved more than rushed visits and fragmented support. They believed in care that focused on people, not just tasks—and that’s exactly what they created.
