Job Title: Care Assistant - Nights

Salary: £13.10ph

Hours: Full Time - 7pm-7am, 3 shifts per week (to include alternate weekends)

Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group

A little about St Andrew's Nursing and Care Home:

St Andrew's is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities for Care Assistant:

You will join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating
You will be responsible for promoting our residents' independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing
You will complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% or above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits
Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year

Essential Requirements for Care Assistant:

Willing to study towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification.
A good reason or experience that has drawn them to care.
Live within 20 minutes of the Home

Preferred Requirements for Care Assistant:

One year of experience working in a residential or nursing home.
Level 2 Health & Social Care or above
