Luxurycare aims to provide the people who use our services with a secure, relaxed, and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort are of prime importance. We strive to maintain and create community links and relationships for everyone, to promote inclusivity and a sense of having a life that is full and purposeful. We ensure our staff understand that their role is not to just ‘care for’ someone it is to ‘care about’ that person. We know this requires us to think about the person's needs but to also think more broadly about their autonomy, independence and self-esteem. To consider adaptations and additions that will enhance their lives rather than just meet care related needs.
All our staff will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all the people who use our service, within a warm and caring atmosphere, and in so doing will be sensitive to the person's ever-changing needs and how these can be met in a way that promotes a contentment with life in whatever form that may take. We recognize that needs are as individual as the person and maybe medical/therapeutic, cultural, religious, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social. People are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised Care Plans in which the involvement of significant people in their lives may be appropriate and is greatly valued.
We recognize that good care cannot come from good intention alone so, all our staff are appropriately trained and supported to deliver the highest standards of care. We have a continuous staff-training program to ensure that these high standards are maintained in line with the latest initiatives, developments in Care Practices, appropriate legislation and care standards. This ensures staff are supported to develop and grow and in turn ensure that people living in all the Homes we operate can live their lives to the fullest, feel safe, secure and valued as individuals.
