Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Support patients with medication administration following prescribed instructions and organisational protocols.
Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements and assist clients during mealtimes.
Manage behaviour effectively through compassionate behaviour management techniques.
Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, using appropriate techniques to prevent injury.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when needed, to ensure the well-being of clients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is highly desirable.
Knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Relevant certifications such as first aid are preferred.
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and effectively manage behavioural challenges.
Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation duties.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and patience when working with vulnerable individuals.

Pay: £22,893.75-£40,000.00 per year
