About Us
At One to One, we operate as an independent, specialist provider of warm, nurturing residential homes for children and young people. Established in 1997 and backed by nearly 30 years of experience, our mission is built on delivering individualized, relationship-based care that provides a safe, stable environment where children can heal, develop confidence, and thrive.
Who We Are
Headquartered in Newton Abbot, Devon, and fully regulated by Ofsted, our organisation operates small, single and dual occupancy children's homes across South West England. Led by experienced senior leaders who remain closely connected to everyday life in our homes, we bring together dedicated residential care practitioners, trauma-informed support specialists, and multidisciplinary professionals to support young people aged 7 to 18.
What We Do
We deliver an integrated suite of specialist residential care and developmental solutions:
- Specialised Children’s Residential Homes: Providing small, community-integrated homes that offer stable, predictable, and comforting living environments for children and young people under care and protection orders.
- Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Care: Embedding the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy) into daily interactions to help children process early life trauma, build emotional resilience, and respond to challenges constructively.
- Individualised Support Packages: Collaborating with external specialists, social workers, and educational professionals to tailor bespoke care plans around the distinct emotional, physical, and developmental needs of each child.
- Independent Living & Transition Pathways: Gradually supporting young people as they grow to develop practical life skills, build community networks, engage with education or employment, and prepare for adulthood.
