Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care

Quest Smart Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client, a domiciliary care provider based in Larne, for the Registered Manager position.

This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for service delivery, regulatory compliance, staff management, and quality assurance, reporting to the service provider’s Director.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

Lead the safe, effective delivery of domiciliary care services.
Ensure full compliance with RQIA regulations and standards.
Manage and support care staff, including recruitment, supervision, training, and rotas.
Oversee safeguarding, medication management, risk assessments, and care planning.
Maintain accurate records, conduct audits, and document compliance.
Liaise with service users, families, professionals, and regulators
Prepare the service for inspection and drive continuous quality improvement.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following eligibility routes, in line with RQIA requirements:

Route A

A professional Social Work qualification registered with NISCC, or
First-level Registered Nurse registered with the NMC, or
An Allied Health Professional registered with the HCPC,
and
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a health or social care setting, including at least 2 years in an operational management role.

OR Route B

A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care (Adult Management) (NI & Wales),
and
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a health or social care setting, including at least 2 years in an operational management role.

Additional Requirements

Registered with NISCC (mandatory)
Eligible and willing to register with RQIA as a Registered Manager
Strong knowledge of NI health and social care regulations
Proven leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills
Right to work in the UK.
