About Us
Sirona care & health
Sirona Care & Health is a major Community Interest Company (CIC) and social enterprise in the United Kingdom. The organisation is the primary provider of publicly funded adult and children's community healthcare services across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG), focusing on a "home first" approach to keep individuals independent and out of hospital.
Who We Are
Sirona Care & Health operates as a regional health powerhouse, functioning as the lead provider for community services in one of the UK's largest Integrated Care Systems (ICS).
Headquartered in Kingswood, Bristol, the organisation has grown significantly, winning a landmark 10-year, £1.2 billion contract in 2020 to unify adult community services across the BNSSG region. Their model is built on a "Taking it Personally" ethos, treating service users with the same care and respect they would expect for their own families. They are recognised for their "One Sirona" philosophy, which aims to provide a seamless, non-fragmented experience for patients moving between different community teams.
They pride themselves on being a Certified Social Enterprise, holding a Gold award for work experience and maintaining status as a member organisation of The Queen’s Nursing Institute.

Approach & Values
Sirona focuses on Independence, Personalisation, and Partnership.
They prioritise joined-up care, utilising a "Single Point of Access" to ensure that patients and GPs can navigate complex community services through a single gateway. Their approach is designed to be anti-racist and inclusive, with established staff networks (such as the Global Majority Network) and a public commitment to tackling health inequalities.
A strong emphasis is placed on "Taking it Personally," which serves as both their core value and their service delivery standard, ensuring care is safe, supported, and welcoming.
Industry Role
Sirona Care & Health plays a pivotal role in the South West England healthcare landscape, acting as the "bridge" between primary care (GPs) and secondary care (Hospitals).
As the dominant provider in the BNSSG area, the organisation contributes to the sustainability of the NHS by managing over 100,000 patient contacts per month in community settings. They act as a strategic leader in the "Healthier Together" partnership, helping to design system-wide pathways that reduce duplication and ensure patients only have to "tell their story once."
They offer a stable, mission-driven alternative to traditional private-sector outsourcing, demonstrating how the social enterprise model can successfully manage large-scale, high-complexity NHS contracts.
