About Us
At St Martin of Tours Housing Association, we are a specialist provider of high-quality supported housing and care services. Our mission is to provide safe, stable, and empowering environments for individuals with complex needs, enabling them to transition towards greater independence and meaningful community integration.
Who We Are
We are a registered charity and housing association with a long-standing commitment to supporting vulnerable adults, particularly those with mental health challenges and those transitioning from high-support environments. We combine secure, comfortable accommodation with dedicated, person-centred support to help our residents rebuild their lives and maintain their wellbeing.
What We Do
We deliver an integrated service that bridges the gap between residential care and fully independent living:
- Supported Accommodation: Providing high-quality, safe housing specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals requiring ongoing support.
- Mental Health Support: Offering professional, compassionate guidance to help residents manage their mental health, improve daily functioning, and develop effective coping strategies.
- Independent Living Skills: Facilitating training and coaching on essential life skills, including budgeting, household management, social interaction, and vocational development.
- Community Integration: Actively supporting residents to participate in community activities, access local resources, and build the social connections necessary for long-term recovery and stability.
Our Approach & Values
- Empowerment: We believe in the potential of every individual. Our support is designed to build confidence, autonomy, and the ability to self-manage personal challenges.
- Person-Centred Partnership: We work in collaboration with residents, health professionals, and support agencies to create individualised support plans that reflect personal aspirations and clinical needs.
- Stability & Safety: We prioritise the creation of a secure and non-judgmental environment, recognising that a stable living situation is the foundation of recovery and personal growth.
- Charitable Ethos: As a charity, our priority is the welfare of our residents. We are committed to reinvesting our resources into the quality of our housing, the professionalism of our staff, and the long-term success of the people we support.
Industry Role
We operate as a Supported Housing and Care Provider. Our role is to act as a vital social infrastructure partner, providing the specialised housing and care environment required by vulnerable individuals who are not yet ready for, or are transitioning out of, intensive clinical or residential care settings.
