About Us
Ofsted Registered Children’s Home: The Bridge is a 12 Weeks- Intervention and Activity home that provides short-term placement and consideration given on (Court Proceedings) 26 weeks can be agreed. The Short-term placement is based on specialist therapeutic care, outdoor adventure activities, education delivered through online learning and outdoor learning. We have vast experience in stabilising children’s behaviour. We have found that assessing children with complex needs, and providing child-led outdoor adventure activities yield positive outcomes for children at risk of disintegrated placement.
We provide a home-like environment where children are encouraged to develop at their own pace. Our child-centered approach ensures we provide the highest quality care that is holistic and values all children as individuals.
Our care team works closely with children, their parents, and other significant people in their lives to develop a personalised package that empowers children and helps them achieve their potential. This personalised childcare model focuses on safety and nurturing each child’s unique identities and personalities.
We have deep insight into the issues that each child in our care has and know that these issues are not just theirs alone. Thus, we deal with children and their significant others systemically and holistically to bring about the best outcomes. Working with an individual child cannot occur in isolation.
We work towards reintroducing the child into their balanced environment, so that integrated functioning and collaboration work well for all concerned.
