The Clock Tower Sanctuary, Brighton

At The Clock Tower Sanctuary, we operate as the only dedicated drop-in day centre in Brighton and Hove for young people aged 16 to 25 who are experiencing homelessness or insecure housing. Established to provide a lifeline for vulnerable youth, our mission is built on offering a safe, non-judgmental space where young individuals can transition away from crisis and towards stability, independence, and personal wellbeing.

Who We Are

Headquartered centrally in Brighton, our organisation brings together dedicated support coordinators, youth workers, and volunteer teams. We work in close partnership with local health services, housing agencies, and community groups to provide comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to rough sleepers, sofa-surfers, and those living in temporary or emergency accommodation.

What We Do

We deliver an integrated suite of crisis support, practical services, and personal development solutions:

• Crisis & Basic Needs Support: Supplying freshly cooked hot lunches, food parcels, clean clothing, shower facilities, towels, and toiletries to address immediate daily hardships.
• One-to-One Casework & Housing Advice: Assigning dedicated Support Coordinators to help clients navigate housing options, register with GPs, access benefits, and connect with specialist mental health or substance misuse services.
• Life Skills & Wellbeing Activities: Running regular workshops, creative groups (including art, writing, and pottery), yoga, and social groups designed to build confidence, self-esteem, and social connection.
• Education, Employment & Training (EET) Support: Assisting young people with CV writing, job hunting, and covering travel or interview clothing costs to help secure sustainable work.

We operate as a Specialised Youth Homelessness Charity. Our role is to act as a vital community safety net, supplying essential welfare infrastructure and transition pathways for vulnerable young adults in the south of England.
