Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate, reliable Homecare Workers (drivers required) to join our friendly, nurse-led team at Hope Homecare. You will provide essential support to adults and children in their own homes, including those with complex needs. Your role will focus on enhancing quality of life, promoting independence, and providing safe, person-centred care.
We welcome both experienced care workers and those new to care. Full training, induction, and ongoing support will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence care.
- Support clients with mobility, moving and handling, and safe use of equipment.
- Assist with medication administration and health monitoring, reporting concerns promptly.
- Support specialist care needs (oral suctioning, PEG feeding, nebuliser use) – full training provided.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and wellbeing monitoring.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment in line with infection control practices.
- Drive to clients’ homes and between visits safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals to deliver personalised care.
Experience Requirements
- Previous care experience is welcome but not essential – we will train and support you.
- Experience in healthcare, nursing, or supporting individuals with complex needs is advantageous.
- Ability to perform moving and handling tasks safely (training provided).
- Strong communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
