We are looking for support workers to support young people with some behavior's which may challenge within a young, rapidly expanding company. You do not need to have experience - training is all provided for you!

We have a number of positions currently available. These include:

Full-time Support Worker
Part-time Support Worker
Weekend Support Worker

We are looking for people who have a caring nature and want to make a difference with our service users. The role comes with its own responsibilities, so it is paramount that you understand the importance of this and that every day is different, so you will need to be flexible in your approach.

Who we are:

We are confident in being able to say that we really are a service like no other. Set up in 2020 by Jack (24), who himself was sectioned as a child and lived within a broken system, he decided to make the difference that he himself so desperately needed.

Within our Gloucester branch, we have some amazing facilities to meet the needs of those that we support. Within our branch, we plethora of rooms to be able to offer an array of activities. We have a Games room, an IT suite, a Library, Independence kitchen, Sensory Rooms, and so much more. Being a support worker with us, you will work with different young people and needs, enabling every day to really be different!

Within our Hereford Branch, we have a very similar to the Gloucester Branch.

Within First Thought Care Services, our services include:

Parenting Support
Mother/Father and baby
Children with additional needs
Short/long-term respite
Specialist Education Provision
Supported Living Facilities

The Pay Spiel:

We can offer you a contract, based on your needs, on a competitive starting hourly rate of £12.82 per hour, with overtime hours paid at£13.07 per hour.

We also pay enhancements based on any relevant NVQs that you may hold. This enhancement can be up to an additional £0.30p per hour.

This means that you could be earning £13.12 an hour (based on overtime and NVQ enhancement on day shifts)!!!
