Job Title: Children's Community Physiotherapist Team Lead
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward-thinking physiotherapist to join the Children's Community Physiotherapy Service as a team lead.
The role will be based in the South of Oxfordshire at either Wallingford, Didcot or Abingdon.
Applicants must have a full, valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required.
Responsibility
- You will be responsible for managing a locality physiotherapy team consisting of band 5 and 6 qualified staff and band 3 and 4 assistants
- Leading a clinical area and supporting the professional lead with service development. The children's community physiotherapy service provides therapy input and support to children with long-term conditions in Oxfordshire.
- You will provide advanced assessment and treatment of patients in homes, schools and clinic settings; providing a comprehensive community physiotherapy service for patients with complex health needs, formulated around evidence-based practice and recognised national standards.
This post will include opportunities for service development, research, education and teaching. We are committed to CPD and will work with you to further develop your skills and experience.
