Job Overview

Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their mental well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Support residents with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments if required.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents as needed.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with residents and team members.
- Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining records and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with residents and their families.
