Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 37 hours per week
Shift Pattern (Set Rota):
- Monday: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Tuesday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Wednesday: Off
- Thursday: Off
- Friday: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Sunday: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Weekends: Every other weekend off
Pay:
- £12.21 per hour – Care Assistant
- £13.00 per hour – Senior Care Assistant
A Stable Full-Time Role with a Set Weekly Rota
Alexandra House is recruiting either a Care Assistant or a Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly and established team. This is a full-time, permanent role with a fixed weekly shift pattern, offering excellent work-life balance and consistency.
Alexandra House provides dementia care, physical disabilities and sensory impairments. It delivers high-quality, person-centred care while encouraging independence wherever possible.
The Role
You will be involved in the day-to-day care and well-being of residents, including:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting residents to remain as independent as possible
- Assisting with daily routines, meals, and mobility
- Building positive, trusting relationships with residents
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Supporting medication administration (training can be provided if required)
Care Assistant – Requirements
- Care Certificate (preferred)
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
- Previous care experience is desirable
- Caring, reliable, and respectful approach
Senior Care Assistant – Requirements
- Care Certificate (essential)
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care fully completed (not distance learning)
- Previous experience in a senior or experienced care role
- Confidence supporting medication (competency desirable; training available)
- Ability to support and guide colleagues when required
