Residential Care Worker – Bradford

We’re Hiring! Due to continued growth, Better Futures Care is seeking Residential Care Workers to support children and young people in a nurturing, safe environment.
Key Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Workforce (or willingness to work towards)
- Experience in residential care or working with children/young people
- Strong safeguarding awareness
- Ability to provide supportive, structured care with professional boundaries

Your Role
- Provide high-quality care and a safe, nurturing environment
- Build trusting relationships and support children’s routines, education, and wellbeing
- Act as a positive role model and surrogate parent within professional boundaries
- Follow care plans and work with families, schools, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes
Team & Home Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, excellent care
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving care practices
- Maintain accurate records, including daily logs and incident reports
- Support a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
- Follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures at all times
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development

Pay: £33,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Education:
- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)
Experience:
- Residential/Senior: 5 years (preferred)
- Residential Childcare: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
- Level 3 diploma for residential childcare (required)
