Registered Manager Children's Residential Home
Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 per annum + sleep-ins
Location: Verwood
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to support the effective leadership of a child-centred residential home that is currently home to 2 children.
This role is key to ensuring the home consistently meets Ofsted regulations, delivers high-quality care, and promotes positive outcomes for children.
Working as the Registered Manager, you will help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stable environment, underpinned by therapeutic practice and strong safeguarding principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children in line with legislation and best practice
- Lead, supervise, and develop the staff team to deliver consistently high standards of care
- Contribute to care planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in the on-call rota.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a children's residential management role
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and quality assurance
- Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
- Proficient in the e-escalation of challenging behaviours ·Full UK driving licence
- This role involves shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
