Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in maintaining their daily routines and activities.
- Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Utilise IT systems for scheduling, reporting, and documentation purposes.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable.
- LIVE IN THE LOCAL AREA.
- Ability to understand and follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal communication skills.
- A valid driving licence is essential for transporting clients when necessary.
- Basic IT skills to manage documentation and communication effectively.
- A compassionate nature with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
