Compass Associates is proud to be exclusively searching on behalf of a respected and established neurological specialist provider in search of a Clinical Services Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a service that provides exceptional delivery of care for adults with neurological conditions.
The position of Clinical Services Manager is critical to maintaining staffing levels and clinical standards as the organisation continues to grow.
As the Clinical Services Manager, you will be providing exceptional leadership to the nursing and care team to ensure outstanding care is being delivered throughout the service. You will build positive relationships with the patients and their families, as well as with external professionals and visitors.
The Clinical Services Manager will be the Safeguarding Lead and will need to ensure systems and processes are in place. This is to ensure everyone is treated with respect, dignity, and kindness within their day-to-day care.
Along with providing exceptional leadership, you will need to act as a role model and encourage service development in relation to nursing practice.
You will have a total of 6 direct reports, and you will report to the Registered Manager.
Additional responsibilities
These include, but are not limited to:
- Overview of the medicines management system
- Coordinate with the clinical admissions pathway
- Have responsibility for a clinical budget
- Work closely with HR in respect of staff performance and sickness management
- Work with the learning and development team to establish an effective skill and competency-based training, learning and development programme for clinical staff.
- Ensure the service operates within the regulatory framework
Criteria
- You must be a qualified nurse. RMN, RGN, or RNLD within the UK, with a strong clinical background.
- It's essential that you can provide strong leadership skills and be a mentor to others
- Experience within neurological conditions / acquired brain injury would be desirable but not essential.
- The Clinical Services Manager must be able to build fundamental relationships internally and externally.
- Experience as a Clinical Services Manager, Matron or Deputy Manager is essential.
- Experience with budgets is desirable, but not essential
Salary / Package Details
Base salary is between £58,000 and £ 68,000, depending on experience. You will be entitled to the organisation's benefits.
Interview Process
- 1st Stage - Informal Teams interview with the Recruitment Manager
- 2nd Stage - Formal face-to-face interview with the Registered Manager and HRD. A short presentation assessment could be required.
- 3rd Stage - Final stage with the CEO via Teams to cover key areas.
