Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
This role as a care assistant is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents by supporting them with dignity, respect, and kindness.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- To provide service users with support and assistance as they accomplish activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, dressing and mobility.
- To ensure that service users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
- To ensure that care plans and other information about how to support service users are followed.
- To be responsible for informing the Team Leader (Nursing) of any changes in the needs of service users.
- To support service users with Chronic or Acute conditions.
About You
- Previous experience working within a care home is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Willingness to complete the care certificate within 12 weeks period.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic nature.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately and sensitively.
- Flexibility to work shifts as and when required.
