- Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, providing a safe, nurturing and structured environment for children with EBD.
- Lead, motivate and support a team of residential support workers, embedding a child-centred and therapeutic approach.
- Develop and monitor care plans and risk assessments that reflect the holistic needs of each young person.
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, compliance and quality assurance, meeting and exceeding National Minimum Standards.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, local authorities and external professionals.
- Manage budgets, staffing and resources efficiently to ensure long-term sustainability of the home.
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent – essential).

- Long-term incentive options, including the potential for equity/profit share for outstanding candidates.
- Career-defining opportunity to register, open and shape a brand-new children’s home.
- Ongoing training, professional development and leadership support.
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing with service.
- Company pension scheme.
- Free on-site parking.
- Company car (subject to terms).
