Abbots Care is an award-winning domiciliary community care provider in Hertfordshire with a CQC rating of outstanding. Within the role of the Care Coordinator, you are required to manage the organisation and delivery of care. You will manage a team of care assistants to support our service users in their own homes to provide person-centred care.
This role is more than just rota management. You will be a part of our operational team, who ensure that we provide outstanding quality care is delivered consistently to our service users.
The role:
- Rostering and daily management of Care Staff who are based in the community
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams and professional bodies to ensure outstanding care is delivered and to positively promote our services.
- Complete quality calls with care staff and service users
- Provide reports to senior management as and when required
- Provide support to our teams as part of a rostered-on call system
- Manage referrals from commissioners and the local authority
- Ensure full capacity is utilised.
Person Specification:
- Experienced Co-ordinator/scheduler doing coordination and rota management
- We are looking for someone vibrant, self-motivated and passionate about making a difference to the lives of vulnerable people
- Drive and Resilience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, you’ll be comfortable on the phone, as well as writing emails
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and flexible
- Strong attention to detail and be a completer/finisher
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Holding a full driving license and access to your own vehicle.

- Experience within the care sector
